and how to really portray yourself, The Speaker Lab by Grant Baldwin has been instrumental in my development and I recommend you listen to that as well.

Matt Lozar: What else is on your list?

Brad Bialy: What else is on my list? Well the Haley Marketing blog of course. I would recommend that we go to the Haley Marketing blog and the Idea Club for best practices in the staffing and recruiting landscape. Our team of marketing educators, our team of social media advisors, project managers, creative individuals, everybody on Haley Marketing’s team is consistently writing content for the Haley blog and the Idea Club. What you’re getting on the Haley blog is not only the best information on the tactic and the tool, but it’s how it relates to you specifically in staffing and recruiting.

Matt Lozar: I think that’s a great way to wrap up the segment here. We’ll list a lot of these in the show notes, but fantastic job by Brad here to steer this segment then kind of wrap it up here. There’s a lot of great content on our blog and so many great thought leaders and people with awesome knowledge in our building that are helping bring those trends of marketing to staffing.

## 2. SMART IDEAS #133: Is DIY cheaper?

practices. No SEO strategy. No AIO considerations. Promotional messaging instead of messaging that sells. It’s not ADA compliant. And zero CTAs.

Is the site attractive?

Yes in a minimalist way.

It’s this a good website?

Hell no!

Owning a hammer does not make me a carpenter!

Warning, rant ahead!

This next part of the story is going to sound a bit biased. Actually, more than a bit. It might sound more like a rant…and it is!

I’ve been in marketing more than 30 years. Haley Marketing has been developing websites for 22 years. We’ve built thousands of websites. And so has the team at Recruiters Websites.

Which is to not so humbly say, “we have a little experience in this area.”

Personally, I’ve studied design principles. I’ve studied CRO best practices. And more importantly, we have a team that knows about messaging, design, CRO, SEO, AIO, and compliance.

Before I share my two cents, let me turn the tables a bit.

As I’m sure you are painfully aware, AI has come a long way in recruiting. It can create a job profile, write a job ad, source candidates, analyze resumes, conduct screening calls, run background checks, schedule interviews, person interviews, and even recommend finalist talent.

But is AI better than an experienced recruiter? Is it more valuable than you?

I’m going to guess your answer is “HELL NO!”

An experienced recruiter will vastly outperform an AI tool. He or she will understand nuance that a machine never will. They’ll build relationships that are essential to sourcing A-players. And more importantly, that can pursue passive talent and convince that “just right” candidate to make a move.

No, AI doesn’t replace a talented recruiter…

And now you know how I feel about DIY AI for marketing.

Williamsville, NY–In their continued efforts to help staffing companies recruit more qualified applicants, generate high-quality sales leads and dominate search results, Haley Marketing, the largest website development, social and recruitment marketing firm serving the temporary staffing and executive recruiting industries, just launched four new pay-per-click (PPC) marketing services.

Ideal for both recruiting and sales, these high-performance PPC programs use advanced targeting methods to make digital ads appear where employers and job seekers spend time online, including Google Search Engine, Google Display Network and Facebook’s News Feed.

Four New PPC Packages

Online search and advertising are rapidly evolving; sourcing qualified candidates, generating leads and staying top-of-mind with the right employers and job seekers takes specialized expertise, application of best practices and ongoing program refinement. To serve clients’ changing needs in such a dynamic and competitive environment, Haley Marketing’s performance marketing specialists have designed four new PPC advertising services. Each is designed to achieve specific recruiting, sales, visibility and branding goals – by delivering the right message, to the right audience, at exactly the right time and place:

Recruiting PPC Campaigns

Haley Marketing has developed three recruitment advertising campaigns to target active and passive job seekers.

- The “Employment Branding” campaign uses Google Display Network and Facebook advertising to target active and passive job seekers based on their interests, specific job titles and content.

- The “Active Job Seeker” campaign uses Google Search Network to target active job seekers seeking specific types of employment.

## 5. Team Haley Onboarding

Citation: Team Haley Onboarding, passage 5

suggest using ChatGPT for sales role-playing.

That's a great idea.

It's a really accessible and risk-free way for salespeople to kind of practice different scenarios.

Yeah, different objections.

And they also talk about this concept of asynchronous selling,

which is really just a recognition that we live in a really fast-paced world.

And buyers want to engage with information on their own terms.

Exactly.

And on their own time.

Nobody wants to feel pressured into a sales call.

So Haley Marketing recommends using tools like video emails and personalized content to reach those prospects.

Yeah, on their own schedule.

Exactly.

And they talk about creating what they call product landing pages.

Okay.

That give prospects all the information they need without having to like jump through hoops.

So it's like, here's the information.

Yeah.

Take your time.

All right.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Exactly.

And another interesting strategy they talk about is leveraging other people's stages.

Yes.

OPS.

OPS.

Right.

So what does that mean?

It means getting in front of your target audience by partnering with platforms and communities that already exist.

Got it.

So instead of trying to build your own audience from scratch, you're tapping into an audience that's already there.

That's a smart approach.

Yeah.

It can save a lot of time and effort.

So what kind of OPS strategies do they recommend?

Well, they talk about things like guest podcast appearances, webinars, and speaking engagement.

So it's about borrowing somebody else's platform.

Yeah.

To share your expertise.

Exactly.

And build credibility.

Yeah.

And they even share an example of a staffing firm in Louisiana that differentiated itself by specializing in this really niche area.
