Learn How to Keep Your Staffing Firm’s Website Invincible with SEO

Mar 6, 2023

As you may already know, the world of SEO is ever-evolving. The trends and fads that may have worked a few years ago are no longer relevant. Staffing Companies must adhere to Google’s constant algorithm updates or risk falling behind. We advise staying on top of Google’s updates and avoiding falling into the search engine results pages. Understanding these methods will help optimize your staffing agency’s website for better rankings and traffic. Keep Your Content Updated and Fresh Users are constantly on the hunt for fresh, new information. Google rewards websites that are continually updated with fresh, relevant content. Let’s talk about some ways you can do that. - Start with your data in Google Search Console and analyze the pages that can be further optimized. For example, investigate which post or page has high traffic but low conversions; it would be smart to start optimizing this type of content. - Keep updating your keyword research; remember, what may have worked a year ago might not work today. You can include newer and more relevant key terms by reoptimizing your keyword strategy. - Modify current headlines. Make them catchy for users to click them rather than the competitors. Remember, you are not the only one creating content. If a competitor creates more relevant, robust, or helpful content than yours, that content will naturally grab Google’s attention. Remember that a good SEO strategy is not just done once and forgotten; you must keep giving it love for it to grow. Rise of AI & Machine Learning

How Your Staffing Firm Can Work a Pillar Content Strategy

Mandy Wittschen · Apr 7, 2022

evolving, pillar content should be as evergreen as possible, or in the case of reports, should hold value for at least the upcoming calendar year. Why is a pillar content strategy so effective? - It makes your staffing firm’s content marketing more focused. Any staffing firm can publish random blog posts. A pillar content strategy takes a systematic, disciplined approach to creating high-value content that ranks well in search. As an added benefit, making pillar content part of your marketing plan can help alleviate the strain of planning and producing content. - It positions you as an expert. The right pillar content can help establish your staffing company as an expert and thought leader in your industry. By offering well-researched insights and practical advice, you can position your firm as both knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping employers and job seekers. And over time, a strategic approach to content creation will help ensure you become known as an authority on topics that matter most to your target audiences. - It’s great for SEO. From an SEO (search engine optimization) standpoint, by digging deep into the core topic and subtopics, pillar content is seen as more authoritative, a better user resource, and filled with keywords and search phrases. Over time, you may find that more outside websites link to pillar content and the user engagement statistics (time on page, bounce rate, etc.) are usually much better than shorter content. These factors will help improve search rankings and attract more traffic. How should your staffing firm work a pillar content strategy? Choose a topic. Start by determining which audience you’re writing for: employers or job seekers. Then, brainstorm a list of topics that are at the intersection of:

Become the Answer: A Practical AI Visibility Action Plan for Staffing Firms

Jul 23, 2026

makes your firm different. 6. Measure Visibility, Not Just Rankings Traditional SEO reports focused on rankings and traffic. Those metrics still matter, but they no longer tell the whole story. Today’s staffing firms should also be asking: - Are we appearing in AI-generated responses? - Are employers finding us through multiple channels? - Are our service pages generating qualified inquiries? - Are prospects spending time with our content? - Are we building authority around our core service lines? Success today is about visibility across the entire buying journey. - Google. - AI Overviews. - ChatGPT. - Gemini. - LinkedIn. - YouTube. - Reviews. - Referrals. - Your website. Every touchpoint contributes to the final buying decision. The Future Belongs to Trusted Resources One of the biggest themes throughout our webinar was that AI hasn’t fundamentally changed marketing. It has simply raised the standard. Buyers still want expertise. They still want proof. They still want trustworthy partners. AI simply helps them find those partners faster. That’s why we believe the future doesn’t belong to the companies producing the most content. It belongs to the companies creating the most helpful content. The firms that consistently educate their market, answer buyer questions, demonstrate expertise, and build trust won’t have to worry about every Google update or every new AI platform. They’ll already be positioned as the answer. And that’s where every staffing firm should strive to be. Final Thoughts The age of AI isn’t the end of SEO. It’s the beginning of a more sophisticated approach to visibility. One built on: - Authority instead of shortcuts. - Expertise instead of automation. - Proof instead of marketing claims.

3 SEO Must Do’s for Staffing Firms in 2016

Brad Smith · Nov 12, 2015

keywords, focus on consistently filling it with great content. Google has a sophisticated search-ranking algorithm that looks at the semantics of your content to infer value for the end searcher. Also, Google looks closely at related search terms and overall topics–not just individual keywords. So for staffing firms, if you want to rank well for a phrase like “Staffing Agencies in Tampa,” you need to cast a wider net. It’s no longer OK to just focus on that one sole keyword phrase. While Google may still search your site and see that phrase, it’s also looking at related terms to judge your relevancy. So a site that includes “Staffing Agencies in Tampa” in their content, along with other terms like staffing agency, temp firm, staffing company, HR services, recruiting, hiring, etc., will have a better chance of ranking well. So, instead of focusing on a small set of keywords, expand your reach. On your static Web pages (services pages, about us, etc.), include your “core” keywords, then use blog content, white papers, and other resources to surround those core keywords with complimentary terms. Our clients who have employed this strategy over the last several years continue to see strong growth in organic search traffic. While those that rest on their laurels and don’t add new content to their website continue to share their share of search engine traffic decline (and it will get worse for them in 2016). - Make sure you have a good user experience. High-ranking sites tend to be very easy to use and provide a great user experience. Here are some key components of the user experience that ALL staffing firms need to examine:
